Leaving
Mucuchíes on the highway toward Apartaderos, which is bordered
by cultivated fields and stone walls, you will arrive at the village
of La Toma.
Here, taking a turn to the left on a steep road that goes up about 4
km, you will reach Mucuposada Agüita Azul at an altitude of about
3300 m. José and his wife will offer you their hospitality at
their páramo house, which lodges about 10 guests in comfortable,
typical rooms with private bath and hot water. Here, too, you will be
delighted by the tasty traditional food of our Andean páramos.
